Free book chapters now available

...on my website!

Now you can read a free chapter from my 1880s Texas historical mystery novel, Lone Star Death, on my website.

AND you can also read a free chapter from my new fairy tale spoof for middle grade kids, Princess Primrose and the Curse of The Big Sleep.

I hope you enjoy them both!

Happy trails,

A Word to my Lovely Readers

As an author, I appreciate every single one of my readers. Indie book authors are responsible for all their own marketing, promotion, book production, etc. in addition to the writing. The publishing world has changed since I started writing back in the early '80s. Reader reviews are more important than ever.

So next time you finish a story or book you love, please consider sharing it on Facebook or Instagram or leaving a review on Amazon. Authors really appreciate that, and it makes it possible for us to offer the occasional free and lower-priced book. Thank you so much! bobbi c.

Bobbi A. Chukran, Author
Bobbi is an author of short spooky and strange stories and plays. She's a spinner of tales, dreamer, seeker of truth, herder of cats and gardener who lives in a small town in north Texas.Ms. Chukran has been writing stories since she was very young. She's a native Texan who comes from a long line of Southern eccentrics of Cherokee, Sioux, Welsh and Irish origin--all of whom told stories of one kind or another. More than anything, that explains a lot about her.

Thank you for your support!

All authors, and especially independent authors, rely on their readers for their support. And book buyers rely on reviews before making book buying decisions.

If you like one of my books that you have purchased on Amazon.com, or BarnesandNoble.com, take a few minutes and post a short review on the book pages on their websites. It's simple, and painless. And I really appreciate it!

Happy trails!
