This is the first longer length mystery in my Nameless, Texas short story series. It introduces the characters, the town, and throws them all into a much more complicated murder mystery--Who killed Mrs. Eula-Mae Bunch? The main protagonist is Kendra Louise Harper, a Texas folklorist. In this story, she's helping her Aunt Jewel with a dyeing with plants gardening workshop at their home. Before the day is over, Mrs. Bunch is found face down in a pool of deep, dark blue indigo sprawled under the blooming rosemary, antique roses and marigolds.
